THE SERVANTS OF THE SERVANTS OF GOD

This pair of upcycled garments draws from my relationship with my hometown church, St Andrews and St Cuthman’s Church, a place tied to both belonging and exclusion. Raised within a Christian community, the church became a repeated site of ritual, yet as a queer person it also embodied tension and quiet scrutiny. Through priest-inspired forms and the transformation of fully upcycled materials, these garments translate personal conflict into acts of reclamation and renewal.
